The PTA is not an exclusive club—it’s just a group of local parents trying to make school a magical place for our kids. 

If you have a little bit of extra time or a specific knack, we would love to have you hang out with us! Take a look at a few simple ways you can help look out for our school:

• 📰 The Newsletter Editor: Love writing casual updates or keeping people informed? Help us put together our friendly bi-weekly email updates so parents always know what’s coming up.

• 📱 The Social Media Connector: Are you already on Instagram or Facebook? Help us post casual reminders, event photos, and fun playground shout-outs to keep our community smiling online.

• 👋 The Welcoming Coordinator: Love greeting people? Help us manage our friendly sign-ups, answer quick parent questions, and make sure new families feel right at home at McNair.

• 📋 The Helper Coordinator: Perfect for a people-person! You’ll help manage our text chains and quick volunteer lists, reaching out to parents when we need an extra hand passing out popsicles or checking in events.

• 📦 The Supply & Setup Finder: Prefer working behind the scenes? Help us coordinate getting small event supplies (like ordering sidewalk chalk, tracking down folding tables, or organizing lawn games) for our community hangouts.

• 🏆 Student Competition Cheerleader: Love seeing kids thrive in challenges? Help us manage the timelines and basic sign-ups for programs like Science Olympiad, Reflections, or Odyssey of the Mind.

• 🎒 After-School Club Coordinator: Help act as our friendly liaison with outside club hosts so our students have fun, low-friction activities to choose from throughout the year.
