22-23 Theme: SHOW YOUR VOICE!

Congratulations to all the participants this year!

Updates:

• We had 29 kids participate this year

• There were 41 entries across the various categories

• We want to thank our beloved teacher judges who graciously gave their time to judge the art submissions and support our program:

• At FCCPTA, 7 of our mustangs have won awards in various categories and levels

• The Outstanding Interpretation winners have been promoted to the State level.

Program Rules: Reflections rules

Student Entry Form: The Student Packet includes program requirements and the entry forms. A separate entry form is required for each category the student is participating in.

Submission Format: Digital

Submissions are due by: November 4th, 2022

Submissions – Naming Convention:

All submissions should have following naming convention for artwork file name and student entry forms to qualify for judging:

1) For the Student Entries (works of art/literature/music,etc):

student last name.first name.school.category.age division."artwork"

ex: Smith.Joseph.McnairES.visualarts.primary.artwork

2) For the Student Entry Forms:

student last name.first name.school.category.age division."entryform"

ex: Smith.Joseph.McnairES.literature.primary.entryform

Qualify Submissions: Reflections committee will review submissions by arts category and rules and qualify them for being reviewed by judges.

Review Submissions: A team of judges will be reviewing the qualified submissions and score them accordingly (November 6th - November 13th)

McNair Results: Winners will be announced, recognized and awarded by McNair Elementary School PTA – TBD

1st place winners in each division and category will be promoted to the FCCPTA Reflections

FCCPTA Results: Winners will be announced, recognized and awarded by Fairfax County Council PTA – TBD

FCCPTA 1st Place Winners will be promoted to Virginia PTA Reflections
